4 hours Workshop across Two Days: 2 Hours on Day#1 and 2 Hours on Day#2.

Kathalaya learning centre and Squiggles brings an exciting storytelling project for children!
The workshop is designed for children to learn various storytelling techniques like voice modulation, body language and gestures to become more articulate, expressive and confident speakers and storytellers. Children will be awarded certificates by Kathalaya learning centre at the end of the workshop.

Teaching children the Art of Story telling. The workshop will help with

• Learning to use the Power of Body Language, Expressions and Voice Modulation.
• Being more articulate and communicate ideas effectively
• Improving Public Speaking skills – Speak fluently and confidently without fear

Some key points

• Main focus area in this workshop – Voice Modulation and Expressions
• Story theme – Folktales with animals as characters
• Children will need to come prepared with  1 folk tale which has animals as characters, ie they should have read and  understood the story before coming for this workshop.

Dharithri Krishnamurthy

Dharithri is a professional storyteller and heads the Kathalaya learning centre for Pune. She discovered storytelling while connecting with her daughter Kaavya. She believes any concept can be taught through a story and is passionate about working with children. She believes stories are the best way to connect people. She works with many schools and has conducted numerous storytelling workshops and sessions for children, teachers and professionals.
