About Us
Squiggles is a Children’s Library based in Pune, delivering books carefully curated for children right to their doorstep. Squiggles was started by a mom, an Engineer from IIT Madras who has worked and lived around the globe for over a decade and now calls Pune her home.
At Squiggles, we believe that reading is a fundamental part of a child’s education and development. That’s why we provide access to a variety of high-quality books from leading authors, enabling children to explore new topics and develop their knowledge. We have books that are sure to spark the love of reading and a lifelong passion for literature in kids. Our titles include books on classic and contemporary fiction, non-fiction, Early Learning, graphic novels, and more.Â
Our online catalog is designed to make it easy for children and parents to find books that are interesting and engaging. We strive to make our library as comprehensive and diverse as possible.Â

About the Founder
Arunima founded Squiggles to enable easy access of quality children’s books to all and hopes that her initiative doesn’t only enrich the lives of children but also becomes a great source of joy for parents. She completed her BTech from IIT Madras and also holds a PG Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Montessori Teachers training.
Growing up as an army brat, she travelled across India developing Adaptability, Resilience and Integrity as her core values. Later, as an oilfield professional for 14 years, Arunima lived and worked around the world in India, Qatar, Brazil, Alaska and Texas. Being a mom of a 7-year-old curious girl, she believes strongly in the positive impact reading has on young children and the incredible bonding experience that it brings.
Traveling around the globe and working in a multi-cultural environment Arunima gained a deeper understanding of various cultures. This perspective was instrumental in creating a unique collection of books at Squiggles celebrating diverse cultures, values and beliefs.
Through Squiggles, Arunima hopes to bridge the gap between good content and readers. She wants to provide an opportunity for children to explore new books and discover different stories that they would otherwise miss out on. She envisions that her work will help to nurture the love of reading in younger generations and will create a platform that would make it easy for children to explore the books they enjoy.
She hopes to share her experience and expertise to develop passion for reading in children and create a world of knowledge, creativity and imagination for them.
