An acclaimed animator and painter, NINA SABNANI teaches at the Industrial Design Centre, IIT-Bombay. She enjoys experimenting with styles and subjects and has held several exhibitions of her paintings.She teaches scriptwriting and storyboarding and makes films on diverse issues. Her model animation film on the possible birth of zero in India, called All About Nothing, was published as a picture book for children by Tulika. She has illustrated several other books for Tulika. Of these, My Mother’s Sari was selected as an outstanding international book for 2007 in the US. Her most recent books are A Bhil Story and A for Ajrakh: The A to Z of Block Printing.
